Let
your child paint the paper plate in whatever colour
they like. When the paint has dried, they can put
glue around the edge of the plate and sprinkle glitter
on it. Once this has dried, glue the photograph
to the centre of the plate. Attach ribbon to the
back of the plate, for hanging.
For a little variety, don't paint the paper plate
and instead
of using a photograph, get your child to paint the
palm of one hand in a colour of their choice and
press it into the centre of the plate to make a
handprint.
Write
your child's name, age, and date on the plate.
Note: I still have a similar plate myself that my
eldest son
(who's 18) made for me when he was in the second
grade at school!
